They then preceded to Mincha and dinner. </div> <div> </div> The downstairs program then began their Noseh (theme)," Shivilei Yisrael" which is a journey throughout Eretz Yisrael. Before entering Eretz Yisrael the downstairs chanichim had to leave Eretz Mitzrayim. They began their journey out of Mitrayim and traveled to receive the Torah, where they were surprised with fireworks, shelet eish of the Aseret hadibrot and they heard over the PA system the Ten Commandments. The chanichim headed back to their bunks and began to unpack, showered and went to sleep. The chanichim will enter Eretz Yisrael today through Eilat and begin their adventure through the Noseh of Shivilei Yisrael. <div>The Machal chanichim started off their night breaking into their intramural groups and had a team building program of building canoes out of cardboard boxes which they then went to the pool to see which canoe would make it across. Machal then returned to their yurts unpacked and got ready for bed. Today they are leaving camp for a hike and will of course be stopping at Scoopers for an ice cream treat. </div> <div>Members of the Sayeret Torah VAvodah program were busy all day with luggage run and making sure that the camp was ready for all programs to arrive. They ended their night with a game of dodgeball followed by a siyum on Masechet Makot by their madrich Jacob Zwelling and then enjoyed a Romanian hot dog BBQ. </div> We are so happy that everyone is here. There will be a newsletter sent out every Friday with a recap of the week. <div>Please make sure to check the website for pictures, like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram. </div> <div>If you have any questions or concerns throughout the summer please feel free to contact us by email <a href="[email protected]"" target=""_blank"" rel="noopener noreferrer">[email protected]</a> and <a href="[email protected]"" target=""_blank"" rel="noopener noreferrer">[email protected]</a>. </div> </blockquote> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Looking forward to a wonderful summer. </div> <div> </div> <div>Josh Zwelling and Shira Kroll</div>

Dear Families,
We want to wish everyone a Chag Sameach and a happy Yom Haatzmaut.
Please see below a letter we just received from Daniel Gottesman, a former chanich and madrich, who sent this letter on behalf of himself, Rami Pinchot and Elazar Kolom, also former chanichim and madrichim who are currently serving in the IDF. We are looking forward to their return to Machane after their service is complete.
“As the days of Yom Hazikaron and Yom Haatzmaut are upon us we would like to thank Camp Moshava Wild Rose for having a direct impact on our decision to enlist in the IDF. These days bring up much thought on the meaning behind the army and the ability to have a homeland and the privilege to protect it; we would like to thank the camp for its inspiration, our madrichim who have both inspired us and guided the path for us by serving before us. Josh, I want to thank you and Shira for all the camp has done and all it has taught us throughout the years, it was undoubtedly the greatest force in the decision and biggest push whenever things get hard here. As we will sorely miss camp this summer we are truly grateful for all it has given us.”
– Daniel Gottesman
