Rabbi Sam Weinberg
Director, Camp Moshava Wild Rose
Rabbi Sammy Weinberg brings with him over two decades of experience in Jewish education and leadership. A lifelong Moshava alumnus, Rabbi Weinberg first arrived at Wild Rose 33 years ago and spent 11 summers as a camper and staff member, experiences that deeply shaped his values and commitment to Jewish life. Before returning to camp, he served for 13 years as Head of School at Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh, where he fostered growth, community, and a passion for learning. Sammy is dedicated to honoring Moshava’s rich legacy while guiding the next generation of campers to experience the same joy, connection, and personal growth that defined his own summers.

Natan Schwartz
Assistant Director, Camp Moshava Wild Rose
Natan is a Wild Rose Alum, having served as a Machal Tzevet (staff) in the summer’s of 2003 and 2004. In the years since he has accumulated over 20 years of experience as an educator and mental health professional, working in Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh and serving as a rabbi, teacher, guidance counselor, and recruiter. He has worked in the summer camp industry in various roles, including at Camp Lavi as the Assistant Camp Director.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Natan now lives in Efrat Israel with his wife Danielle and their four children, Chani (17), Gila (15), Etiel (14) and Eliav (10). In addition to working in education, Natan is a mental health professional with a Masters in Counseling and has a private practice in which he works with families, couples, individuals and children aged 8-18. His life experience is vast, from having Smicha to serving in the Israeli Army. Natan is also an avid sports fan, having coached multiple youth sports over the years.

Ariela Vatenmakher
Director of Operations
Ariela is the Director of Operations at Moshava Wild Rose, preparing for her fourth summer on staff. Before joining Wild Rose, Ariela spent 11 summers at Moshava Ennismore in a range of roles, growing up in the Moshava system and developing a deep connection to camp life.
Ariela brings over a decade of experience as a teacher, which shapes her thoughtful, organized, and people-centered approach to camp operations. She currently lives in Israel with her husband, Ariel.
